ABOUT US
Our Mission
ROC Code is an organization meant to make learning and teaching computer programming accessible to students of all ages and genders. Our mission is to provide our generation the opportunity to learn coding, which is essential to our era. We are accomplishing this through our one-on-one classes, library events, speaker events, blog, and fundraising programs.
Why We Are Unique
We strongly believe all students, no matter financial status, should be able to learn the crucial skill of programming and therefore have positioned ourselves as a nonprofit organization. We are also very accessible because of our virtual capabilities to teach one-on-one. Our classes are interactive, not just videos, so students can express concerns and questions throughout lessons and will receive answers and feedback right away. Most importantly, because programming requires continuous learning more than other fields, our courses set students up to continue their programming journey independently.
