Start a Chapter
Why should you start a chapter?
One way that you can take a larger role in ROC Code is by establishing a ROC Code Club or chapter at your school and becoming a chapter leader. If you feel inspired by ROC Code's message to spread coding knowledge to all people regardless of age or gender, starting a chapter is the way to go. Chapters are also a great way to work on your leadership and decision-making skills because of the unique responsibilities and freedoms that come with leading a chapter. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A COMPLETELY QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL TO START A CHAPTER. We only ask that you are dedicated and willing to learn as we can provide you with the guidance and resources to get started.

Well, the first step is to fill out the form below to state your interest in starting a chapter, and we will get back to you as soon as possible (usually within one week). Once we send you an email, we will work back and forth with you and if needed, your school, to establish a chapter and give you the necessary resources and help to get started. We are excited to meet the many future leaders and programmers who will start chapters!
